Alberto Vender is an Italian mountain runner from Val di Fiemme in Trentino who competes for Brooks Italia as part of the strong club infrastructure of the Giudicarie valley. He is one of the leading vertical kilometer specialists and short-course mountain runners from the region, competing at Italian Tricolore Vertical championships and national vertical kilometer events. He set a course record at the Colmen Trail 2022 (1:41:14) and won the Saslong Half Marathon. He represents Trentino in Italian national competition, racing across both vertical-focused and longer trail formats in a region that has produced numerous elite mountain athletes over many generations.
