Alexandra Clain is a French trail runner from Réunion Island who has built her career around the island's demanding mountain ultras and the wider Indian Ocean racing circuit. She won the Grand Raid des Pyrénées 80K in 2017 and finished 3rd overall at Réunion's iconic Diagonale des Fous (La Réunion Grand Raid) in 2019, adding to a long list of wins and podiums on home trails. In 2018 she was invited as a "Star Runner" guest to Mauritius's Dodo Trail, and she has also raced further afield, including a DNF at the demanding 107.7-kilometre, 7,150-metre Restonica Trail (Ultra-Trail di Corsica) in 2019.
