Andrzej Witek is a Polish professional trail runner and coach who holds a personal best of 2:16 for the marathon and is one of Poland’s foremost representatives in international ultra trail racing. Running for the Asics Fuji trail team, he competes at the sharp end of UTMB-affiliated 100km and 100-mile races across Europe, combining road-level speed with the endurance to race competitively over mountain terrain for 6–15 hours. He won the Istria 100 by UTMB in 2023 (5:19:31), the Mozart 100 by UTMB in 2024 (2:54:17), and the Chianti Ultra Trail by UTMB in 2026. He also runs a coaching business under the Instagram handle @andrzej.witek_szybciej — “szybciej” means “faster” in Polish. A cerebral and experienced competitor who combines road speed with mountain endurance, Witek represents the growing strength of Polish ultra trail running on the European circuit.
