Bastien Dauthuey Laurent is a French trail and ultra-trail runner who has competed across both the Canadian and European mountain ultra circuits. Racing in the men's 20-34 age category, his standout result came at the 2021 Quebec Mega Trail 100-mile race — one of Quebec's flagship wilderness ultras traversing the Charlevoix mountains to Mont-Sainte-Anne — where he placed 2nd in 24:12:56 behind winner Benoit Gaillard. On home soil he placed 6th at the 50km EDF Trail Vallees d'Aigueblanche in France in 2023 (6:21:00), a UTMB Index race in the Alps above Moutiers. He also completed the Ut4M (Ultra Tour des 4 Massifs) in Grenoble in 2018, one of France's most demanding mountain ultra circuits.
