About
Caroline Boller is a British-born ultrarunner and naturalized U.S. citizen who became one of the most accomplished masters competitors in American ultra-distance running. She took up running at age 38 in 2012 and within 14 months was placing in the top 10 at 50Ks, 50-milers, and 100Ks. In 2016 she won the USA 50K Road National Championship at Caumsett Park in 3:22:50 — breaking the masters American record and earning selection to the IAU 50K World Championships — and set an American 50-mile trail best at Brazos Bend that bettered Ann Trason's previous record by 25 minutes. In addition to racing, Boller works in the wine industry as an in-house legal counsel and is a prominent advocate for masters runners.
