Chiara Boggio is an Italian sky runner and ultra-trail runner from Valperga in the Canavese region of Piedmont who built her racing résumé at international ultras in Paris, Barcelona and Rome before taking on the sport's ultimate mountain test. At the 2019 Tor des Géants — the roughly 330km, 24,000m+ single-stage circuit of the Aosta Valley's giants — she finished 3rd among women in 96 hours, 55 minutes and 5 seconds, becoming the first Italian woman to finish that edition of the race. She has described the Tor des Géants as the race where she experienced her most beautiful emotions in the sport, and her podium there is regarded locally as one of the standout Canavese results in the race's history.
