Chrissy Duryea-Ferguson is an American ultrarunner and longtime race director best known for her deep connection to the Arkansas Traveller 100 Mile, where she has 19 finishes and has co-directed the race for 16 years. She made her Western States 100 debut in 1992 and returned to the race across the 1990s, including a 3rd-place finish in 1995, the same year she helped the U.S. team win gold at the IAU World 100K Challenge with a 7:44:00 performance. Her connection to the Arkansas Traveller shaped her personal life as well as her career: she married fellow AT100 devotee Stan Ferguson after he stepped in as her pacer for the final 32 miles of the 1995 Western States when her original pacer was injured. Her combination of elite-level racing, a national team medal and decades of race-directing service place her among the most enduring figures in American ultrarunning.
