Claire Shelley is a British ultra runner from Hertfordshire who focuses on long-distance fixed-time and towpath racing. She began competing in ultras in 2010 with the Country to Capital race and has since completed events ranging from 30 to 145 miles, including the Grand Union Canal Race (GUCR), the South Downs Way 100, and the South Downs Way ONER. She has represented the British Spartathlon Team and is a consistent finisher across the UK's most demanding ultra circuit. She finished 13th female at the SkyRun the Mournes in 2024. Her training and racing logs, which she has shared publicly online, have made her a resource for the community of UK ultra runners.
