About
Cristian Minoggio is an Italian trail and mountain runner from Piedmont who competes on the Kailas Fuga Team and has sustained elite-level performance for over a decade, becoming one of the most respected veterans in Italian trail running. He won the 2019 Royal Ultra Sky Marathon Gran Paradiso and has been a consistent presence in the upper reaches of major Italian and European trail events. His 2025 season was among the finest of his career: second at OCC-UTMB and fourth at the Trail World Championships Long Trail behind Jim Walmsley, Benjamin Roubiol, and Louison Coiffet — a top-4 world championship result that is remarkable given his early-40s age group. He also won the Monte Rosa WalserWaeg by UTMB in 2025. A determined and technically precise runner whose results have improved in the latter stage of his career, Minoggio is one of the Italian trail scene’s most admirable long-term figures.
