About
Davide Magnini is one of Italy's most exciting dual-discipline mountain talents, excelling in both ski mountaineering and trail running from his home region of Trentino. Born August 30, 1997, in Cles and raised in Vermiglio before relocating to Courmayeur, he began ski mountaineering at 14 and rose rapidly through the junior ranks, claiming U20 and U23 World Cup titles and winning European and World U23 championships in both Individual and Vertical categories. On trails he has proven equally gifted, winning the Marathon du Mont-Blanc twice — first as a 21-year-old in 2019 and again in 2025 — as well as the Giir di Mont 32km. His ability to compete at the highest level in two distinct but complementary mountain disciplines marks him as one of the most complete mountain athletes of his generation.
