Didier Mussard (born June 21, 1978, Réunion) is a French ultra trail runner from the Indian Ocean island of Réunion who has built one of the most geographically diverse résumés in the global trail community. After beginning in athletics — cross country, road running, and mountain racing — he specialized in long-format trail and ultra events. He won the Trail des 3 Pitons on Réunion in 2006 and went on to capture the Trail du Grand Ouest three consecutive times between 2013 and 2015. In 2018 he crossed to the Caribbean to win the TCHIMBE RAID 103km in Martinique. He has also placed 4th at the Trail du Ventoux on the French mainland and regularly competes across circuits on Réunion and Mauritius. His longevity and geographic breadth — racing across Indian Ocean, Caribbean, and metropolitan French events over a career spanning nearly two decades — make him one of the most distinctively well-traveled competitors on the island ultra trail scene.
