Elisabeth Cauchon is a Quebec City ultra-trail runner who first broke onto the scene as a 25-year-old in 2016, winning the women's 80km at the Ultra-Trail Harricana du Canada (UTHC), then adding a 3rd place on the 65km in 2017 and a win on the 65km in 2019. After stepping back to have two children, she returned to place 3rd in the 125km UTHC in 2024 — her first race over 100km post-motherhood. She has since raced internationally, finishing 4th on the 80km TransGranCanaria, 2nd on the 100km TransMartinique (2025), and 6th on the 100km Black Canyon Ultras (2024), placing top-10 in the World Trail Majors in both 2024 and 2025, and representing Canada at the World Trail Running Championships in Innsbruck (2023) and Canfranc (2025). In 2026 she finished 2nd in the Quebec Mega Trail 135km (19:19:09).
