About
Elisabetta Negra is an Italian mountain ultrarunner from Issime in the Aosta Valley who races for Team Inrun and has become one of the most consistent Italian women on the Alpine ultra circuit. She finished third overall at the Tor des Géants — the 330km, 24,000m-vertical loop through the Aosta Valley widely regarded as one of the hardest ultra-distance races in the world — a result that established her among the country's leading mountain ultra specialists. She has also built a strong record at the Madeira Island Ultra Trail (MIUT) in Portugal, placing third in the 60km category in 2023 and returning in 2024 to take second in the 42km race in 4 hours 21 minutes 24 seconds, finishing directly behind French winner Laure Desmurs. Her results reflect the technical strength and high-altitude endurance that competing in the Aosta Valley's demanding terrain requires.
