Esther Fellhofer (born October 15, 1989, in Rohrbach, Upper Austria) is an Austrian trail runner who now lives in Kufstein, Tyrol, and works as a quality manager for dairy products. She only started trail running in 2019, and her rise was immediate: in her debut season she won the Traunsee Marathon and the Wörthersee Ultra Trail 72km outright while also cracking the overall top 20, a performance that caught the attention of Asics Trail Team scouts and earned her a spot on their international roster. She has since become one of Austria's most consistent podium threats at home, winning the Großglockner Ultra Trail (GGUT), KAT100, and Hochkönigman, and stepped onto the international stage with a third-place finish at the 2022 La Sportiva Lavaredo Ultra Trail by UTMB in the Dolomites. Fellhofer's rapid climb from non-runner to Ultratrail elite in just a few years has made her one of the sport's notable late-blooming success stories.
