Eva Maria Sperger is a German trail runner and psychotherapist from Munich who competes for Salomon Trailrunning and holds the title of German Ultratrail Champion. A specialist in high-alpine mountain racing, she podiumed at the Eiger Ultra Trail by UTMB in consecutive editions — finishing second in the E101 in 2024 and second again in the E51 in 2025 in 8:21, where she was beaten only by compatriot Daniela Oemus. She has raced across some of the Alps' most iconic terrain, from the Zugspitze to Mont Blanc, and draws on her professional background in psychology to manage the mental demands of technical mountain racing. Sperger is one of Germany's most accomplished women in alpine trail running.
