Fabien Antolinos is a French trail runner born on 26 April 1977 in Bron who took up competitive running in 2008 on a friend's challenge and quickly rose to become one of France's most celebrated ultra-trail athletes. By profession a physical education teacher, he is known for tactical intelligence and the ability to sustain pace on technical mountain terrain over long efforts. He won the SaintéLyon on his debut appearance in 2008, then claimed the French Trail Championship and the Grande Course des Templiers in 2012, and capped his peak years with victory at the Lavaredo Ultra Trail in 2017. He also represented France at the 2013 IAU Trail World Championships in Wales, finishing sixth individually and helping the French team to a runner-up result.
