Francesca Pretto (born February 6, 1977) is an Italian trail and mountain runner from Vicenza who works as an architect and competes for Atletica Vicentina. She built her reputation in the Dolomites, taking third place — and first Italian — at the La Sportiva Lavaredo Ultra Trail by UTMB in 2019, and has since become a fixture of the domestic long-trail scene, winning the Venice Night Trail in 1:13:55 and racing at UTMB Mont-Blanc in 2022. Her form was recognized nationally when she was selected among 43 athletes to represent Italy in the long-trail discipline at the 2023 World Mountain and Trail Running Championships in Innsbruck. Pretto's combination of technical Dolomite racing pedigree and national-team selection places her among Italy's respected veteran trail competitors.
