Gina Lucrezi is an American trail runner and the founder of Trail Sisters, a global community and education platform for women in trail running that she started from her kitchen table in 2016 and has since grown to roughly 150 regional chapters and tens of thousands of members. Before that she was a decorated collegiate runner — a 10-time NCAA Division III All-American and 1500m national champion — who turned that speed into ultra success at altitude, winning the Leadville Race Series' Silver Rush 50 Mile twice, in 2014 and 2017 (the latter in 8:51), taking the 2012 USATF Trail 10K title, and setting the women's FKT on Mt. Whitney's standard route. She lives in Buena Vista, Colorado, where she has also run for county commissioner.
