Isabella Poulos is an American ultrarunner and yoga instructor based in Telluride, Colorado, who emerged as one of the sport's most exciting young talents with a stunning 100-mile debut at the 2025 Wasatch 100. A dance graduate with certifications in yoga and health coaching, she moved to Telluride in the fall of 2020 after living in Vermont and Sweden, working as a teacher and baker before settling into her current role as an instructor at Mangala Yoga. She built her mountain-running résumé through the 2025 season with a second-place finish at the San Juan Solstice 50 Mile and a fourth at the Telluride Mountain Run, before stepping up to 100 miles for the first time at Wasatch. At age 29, she won the women's race outright in 23:45:31 — the first sub-24-hour winning time at Wasatch since the course was toughened in 2016 — announcing herself as a serious contender at the ultra distance. The previous year she had already shown her climbing pedigree by winning the 2024 Ouray 50 Mile women's title.
