Ivan Camps is a Catalan mountain ultra-trail runner from Berga, in the Berguedà comarca of the Catalan Pyrenees foothills, who built a strong regional reputation racing for the Buff Pro Team. In November 2015 he won the 85-kilometre category of the Barcelona Trail Races (Helly Hansen Ultratrail Collserola), sharing the day's headlines with women's winner Carme Tort. He returned to his home mountains in July 2017 to win the Ultratrail Catllaràs, the closing race of the MissionX3 circuit, covering the 51-kilometre, 3,500-metre-climb course in 5:51:37 — nearly 24 minutes clear of runner-up Dani Parés — a result local media framed as continuing Berga's habitual dominance of the event. Camps remains one of the Berguedà region's most recognisable ultra-trail competitors on the Catalan mountain racing circuit.
