Jared Scott

Jared Scott is an American mountain, trail, and snowshoe runner who moved to Flagstaff, Arizona for graduate school and got hooked on trail running in the high country around the Grand Canyon, where he set the rim-to-rim speed record from the North Rim to the South Rim in 2011. A member of the 2012 U.S. Snowshoe National Team after several years of near-misses, he represented the U.S. internationally at races like La Ciaspolada in northern Italy, while building a parallel career on dirt: he won the Mogollon Monster 100 outright in 2015, took second at the Bighorn 100 in 2012, and picked up third-place finishes at both the Javelina Jundred (2012) and the Bear 100 (2010).
