Jazmina Benitez is an ultrarunner who won the women's race at the second edition of Portugal's Madeira Island Ultra-Trail — then run as the UT105 from Porto Moniz to Machico — on September 5, 2009, finishing the 105km mountain course in 24 hours, 32 minutes, and 38 seconds. Her win came in the same edition where Armando Teixeira took the men's title in 14:35:00, an early staging of what has since grown into MIUT, one of the largest ultra-trail events on the World Trail Majors circuit.
