Jeff Mogavero is an American mountain ultrarunner and On Running athlete from Missoula, Montana, who discovered trail running while studying at St. Lawrence University (Class of 2016), strategically located near the Adirondack Park where he fell in love with running on mountain terrain. A multi-sport athlete with deep mountain legs, he came to the flat desert course of the Javelina Jundred in October 2024 just months after completing UTMB — an unusual double that flagged his range — and placed second in 12:54:31, one of the fastest times in the race’s history, to earn a Golden Ticket to the Western States 100. There he made the fastest debut in the race’s modern history, finishing fourth in 14:30:11. He has also completed the Cocodona 250 and is sponsored by Precision Fuel & Hydration alongside On Running, establishing himself as one of the most versatile performers in American ultrarunning.
