Kanoa King

About

Kanoa King is an American trail ultrarunner who has built much of his career on the technical, mountainous courses of the U.S. Northeast, particularly around Vermont's Green Mountains. He put together a consistent podium record at the Catamount Ultra 50K, finishing runner-up in both 2017 and 2018 before taking third in 2019, and added a third-place finish at the Whiteface Sky Races that same year. He also broke through at longer distances with a third-place finish at the Black Canyon Ultras 100K in 2018. King has continued to race widely on the UTMB Index circuit, including an outing at the Ultra-Trail Harricana du Canada 125km in 2019, reflecting a career built on steady depth across the 50K-to-100K range rather than a single signature win.
