About
Magdalena Łączak is a Polish mountain ultrarunner who competed at the sharp end of the European trail circuit for more than a decade, collecting results across some of the most competitive races on the calendar. A Salomon-supported athlete, she produced her best performances in the mid-2010s: third at the Mont-Blanc 80km in 2014, runner-up to Emelie Forsberg at the Ice Trail Tarentaise in 2015, and fifth at Transvulcania that same year. Her signature achievement came at the Transgrancanaria Classic 125km on Gran Canaria, which she won in both 2017 and 2018 — completing the back-to-back in 16:22:56 in the latter edition. Competing at a time when the women's ultra field was at its most competitive, with Forsberg, Nathalie Mauclair, and Ragna Debats all active at their respective peaks, her consistency across long-distance mountain ultras represented one of Poland's strongest sustained records in the sport. She has continued racing into her mid-forties and remains competitive on the Polish ultra circuit.
