Manuel Hartweg is a German mountain ultrarunner, racing for LG Rülzheim, who only began competitive running in his early thirties yet has risen rapidly into the German ultra-trail elite -- crossing the 800-point UTMB Index threshold and taking the German Ultra Trail Championship title in 2024. In 2025 he placed 3rd at the Mozart 100 in Salzburg (120km, 11:52:09) and 3rd at the Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun (108.3km, 11:43:26), then opened 2026 by winning the Zugspitz Ultra Trail (74km, 7:07:22) and taking 2nd at the Eiger Ultra Trail (101km, 11:56:18) behind Stian Dahl Sommerseth. He has represented Germany at the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships.
