Mark Perkins, known as "Ultraperk," is a British ultrarunner and web developer from Brighton, England who won the South Downs Way 50 Mile in his ultramarathon debut — a remarkable introduction to the sport. A member of the Centurion Running Ultra Team and brand ambassador for Profeet, he built his reputation through impressive performances in British ultra events: at the Crawley 12-Hour Race in April 2015 he ran 99.6 miles and was awarded an official 100-mile time of 12:04, placing him approximately fourth on the British all-time 100-mile list at the time; the following month he ran the historic 145-mile Grand Union Canal Race, finishing second in 22:42.
