Maxime Pellouchoud is a Swiss trail runner who has translated a background in ski mountaineering into podium finishes on the Alpine ultra circuit. He announced himself with a win at the Wildstrubel by UTMB's Wild 50 in 2025, taking the 50km route from Adelboden to Crans-Montana in 4:53:50 and clearing runner-up Anthony Felber by more than 13 minutes, and has also finished on the podium of the Matterhorn Ultraks. Pellouchoud continues to build his UTMB World Series résumé, racing primarily across Switzerland's high-mountain trail scene.
