Mercedes Arcos Zafra is a Spanish trail runner who won the Orsières-Champex-Chamonix (OCC) race at the 2016 UTMB World Series in a time of 6:54:13 — a 55km race through the Mont-Blanc massif with 3,500m of elevation gain. One of the few Spanish women to win a UTMB series race, she is an active competitor on the Spanish and European trail circuit and has maintained a consistent international presence in UTMB Index events across her career.
