Nicolás Molina Agustín was born on 10 May 2000 in Dúrcal, in the Sierra Nevada foothills of Granada, Spain, and is one of the sport's most exciting young skyrunning talents. A multiple-time Spanish champion in skyrunning and trail, a multi-time youth world champion at ISF level, he won the Skyrunner World Series overall in 2022 — an extraordinary achievement for a 22-year-old. He claimed the Gorbeia SkyMasters title to seal the 2022 SWS overall. In 2025 he won the 2Peaks Skyrace in South Korea in 2:45:32. He competed for La Sportiva for several years before signing with Scott Running for the 2026 season. His background in alpine skiing has given him exceptional downhill technique that distinguishes him on technical, descent-heavy skyrunning courses.
