Paul DeWitt is an American ultrarunner and run coach, based in Colorado, best known for back-to-back Leadville Trail 100 Run victories in 2003 and 2004. In his 2004 win he broke the Leadville course record with a time of 17:16:19, finishing ahead of Scott Jurek. He raced Leadville four consecutive years, placing 4th, 2nd, 1st, and 1st across that stretch. He stepped back from competitive racing around 2009 and has since worked full-time as an ultrarunning coach.
