Phuong Nguyen (Nguyễn Phương) is a Vietnamese trail runner who has competed across a range of mountain ultra events on the Vietnamese trail circuit, including the LAAN Ultra Trail, the Dalat Ultra Trail, and the Ultra Trail Cao Bang — events that traverse the spectacular highland terrain of northern and central Vietnam. He represents the vibrant and rapidly expanding trail running community in Vietnam, which has developed since the early 2010s into one of Southeast Asia's most active ultra scenes, producing athletes who compete on technically demanding mountain routes amid some of the region's most striking landscapes.
