About
Pierre Galbourdin was born on 30 June 1999 in Baden-Baden, Germany, and grew up in France. A multi-sport background in swimming, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, triathlon, and athletics led him to study sports science (STAPS) at the University of Besançon, during which he competed in cross-country for universities in Florida and North Carolina, earning All-American honours. Since 2024 he has been a professional athlete and coach for Brooks Running, living near Annecy and also practising ski mountaineering. In April 2026 he won the French Short Trail Championship at Mont Ventoux — his first national title. He placed 6th at the 2025 Pitz Alpine Glacier Trail (GTWS) and is developing rapidly on the international short trail circuit.
