Ramon Manetsch is a Swiss trail runner who placed second at the 2024 Eiger Ultra Trail by UTMB, completing the 100.5km flagship course with 6,541m of elevation gain in 11:17:32 — just 12 minutes behind winner Andreas Reiterer of Italy. Racing on home Swiss terrain in one of the most technically demanding 100km-plus events on the UTMB World Series, Manetsch demonstrated the climbing strength and technical ability that defines elite alpine ultra racing. He returned for the 2025 Eiger Ultra Trail, continuing to build his reputation as one of Switzerland's most competitive men at the mountain ultra distance.
