About

Robyn Cassidy is a British ultrarunner and physiotherapist from Somerset who has established herself as one of the UK's most formidable long-distance mountain racers. She developed through cross-country and athletics before being drawn toward longer distances and more technical mountain terrain. Her breakout came at the 2023 Dragon's Back Race — a five-stage, 315-mile route across the mountains of Wales — where she won the women's race. She followed this with the Lakeland 100 title in 2024, a 100-mile tour of the Lake District fells, confirming her position among Britain's leading ultra trail runners. A Montane Collective athlete and Precision Fuel & Hydration-supported runner, Cassidy also placed 2nd female at the Full Winter Spine Race, the 268-mile non-stop route along the Pennine Way.
