About

Rosalia Camargo Guarischi is a Brazilian ultrarunner and architect from Rio de Janeiro who has built one of the most impressive competitive records in South American trail running while maintaining a full-time professional career. Working in her architectural office Monday through Friday, she trains with extraordinary discipline — running the 20km stretch from Leblon to Urca daily — and channels that preparation into performances at international and multi-day races across four continents. Her race record includes victories at the Madeira Island Ultra Trail 100km (2012), El Cruce de Los Andes (2012), the XTerra Estrada Real 50km (2017), and the INDOMIT Costa Esmeralda 100-mile (2017), alongside two XTerra Endurance Circuit titles (2014 and 2017) and a UTMB finish in 2014. Widely regarded as one of Brazil's most versatile trail ultrarunners and a pioneering figure in building the sport's profile in South America.
