About

Ryan Brown is a British ultrarunner who holds a place in the history of British 100-mile trail running as the winner of the very first South Downs Way 100 in June 2012 — the inaugural edition of Centurion Running's flagship race along the South Downs National Trail from Winchester to Eastbourne, 100 miles of chalk ridge and rolling downland with approximately 12,700 feet of ascent. He completed the course in 17:04:26, establishing the benchmark for a race that has since grown into one of Britain's most celebrated annual ultras. His wife Nicole Brown placed 2nd among women at the same inaugural edition.
