Sarah Emoto is an American ultra-distance runner based in California who won the women's race at the 2019 Moab 240 — the 238-mile desert endurance run through the canyon lands of southeastern Utah, one of ultrarunning's most demanding multi-day events — in a time of 81:18:42, leading Kathy Adams (2nd, 86:28:13) and Catra Corbett (3rd) across the finish. She has also been active in the Southern California ultra community, serving as a pacer at the Angeles Crest 100 in 2017. During the COVID-19 race cancellation period in 2020 she won the Aravaipa Strong Virtual 100-mile fundraiser in 16:15:46.
