About
Sarah Ostaszewski is an American multi-day ultra specialist, coach, and Tailwind Nutrition athlete from Durango, Colorado who grew up near Lake Michigan in Northwest Indiana, running track and cross-country in high school and racing roads through college before entering her first 60k in 2014. Her defining competitive gift turned out to be exactly what the sport's longest formats demand: the ability to manage sleep deprivation, sustained nutrition, and mental fortitude across hundreds of miles of racing without falling apart. She raced the Cocodona 250 three consecutive times from 2021 to 2023, winning the 2023 edition outright after finishing third in 2022; in 2024 she won the Moab 240 in a new women's course record. She operates Giddyup Ultra, her trail and ultra running coaching practice, alongside her competitive career, and is one of the most experienced 200-plus mile specialists in women's trail running.
