Thomas Roach is a British mountain and fell runner from Sussex who has lived and trained in Austria for several years, a base that has sharpened his technical mountain skills considerably. He holds the Three Peaks Race course record of 2:53:28 set in 2023, the same year he won the prestigious Yorkshire classic on his first attempt. At the 2023 Trail World Championships 40K in Austria, Roach led Great Britain's men's team to gold and took individual silver — one of the finest results for a British mountain runner in modern championship history. He also represented GB at the 2022 World Mountain and Trail Running Championships in Chiang Mai. He is widely seen as one of Britain's finest mountain runners of his generation.
