About
Timmy Parr is an American mountain ultrarunner who ran collegiately at Western State Colorado University and spent two years racing competitive road marathons — clocking a 2:28 marathon and a 1:08 half — before moving to ultras in 2008. He won the Leadville Trail 100, the legendary high-altitude Race Across the Sky, outright in 2009 in 17:27:23, defeating several of the era's top ultrarunners on one of the sport's most grueling 100-mile courses. He went on to become the 2015 U.S. Skyrunner Series Sky Division champion, focusing his career on mountainous marathon-distance skyrunning events, and remained competitive into his forties, winning the Speedgoat by UTMB 21k outright in 2023.
