About
Tran Duy Quang is a Vietnamese ultrarunner widely regarded as the most accomplished trail runner his country has produced. He took up running in 2014 as a stress outlet and progressed rapidly, winning the Vietnam Mountain Marathon 100K in Sa Pa in 2017 to become the first Vietnamese champion of that race, and adding the VTM 70K in Da Lat that same year. In 2018 he competed at UTMB and became the first Vietnamese finisher of the Spartathlon, the grueling 246.8 km historic road ultramarathon from Athens to Sparta. His performances across mountain trail and road ultra distances have made him an inspirational figure for the growing trail running community in Vietnam.
