Victor Larocque is a Canadian ultrarunner from Shawinigan, Quebec, and a former triathlete with the Rouge et Or triathlon club who raced on the Ironman circuit before switching his focus to trail running. He won the 125-kilometre Ultra-Trail Harricana de Charlevoix in 2024, then made history in October 2025 by winning the inaugural Rarámuri 100 Mile at Chihuahua by UTMB in Mexico's Copper Canyons — becoming the first Canadian to win a 100-mile UTMB World Series race. The 157-kilometre, 7,756-metre-vertical course nearly beat him: with three kilometres left on a midday climb his body shut down from heat, and he crawled under a tree to escape the sun before two passing hikers pointed him toward a nearby aid station that got him to the finish in 21:21:19. At the 2026 Quebec Mega Trail he placed 2nd in the new QMT135 distance, reaching Mont-Sainte-Anne in 17:07:56 behind Poland's Kamil Lesniak.
