About
Xavier St-Cyr is a Canadian ultrarunner and resident physician in internal medicine born around 2002 in St-Lambert, Quebec. A former rugby player who took up running at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, he made an extraordinarily rapid rise through the ultra-trail ranks within just two competitive seasons. In 2025, at age 23, he won the inaugural 135K distance at Québec Mega Trail (17:18:05) and shared victory at the prestigious Ultra-Trail Harricana du Canada 125K alongside Mathieu Blanchard, making him one of the most exciting emerging talents in North American trail running. He balances his elite racing career with his medical residency in Sherbrooke, Quebec.
