About
Anna Comet Pascua (born 20 February 1983) is a Spanish trail runner, journalist, and running coach who has built a career that bridges high-altitude competitive racing and endurance adventure. A Scarpa-sponsored athlete, she won the 2013 Marathon des Sables — the iconic multi-stage desert ultramarathon across the Moroccan Sahara — and twice set the Fastest Known Time on Nolan's 14 in Colorado: in 2016 and again in 2020, covering the 95+ mile route linking 14 of the state's fourteeners. She has also finished on the Hardrock 100 podium (2021) and placed second at the Transvulcania Ultramarathon (2015). Beyond racing, she practises journalism and coaches athletes in Spain, making her one of the sport's most versatile ambassadors.
