Beth McKenzie is an American professional trail runner and entrepreneur based in Sydney, Australia who co-founded WYN Republic — a performance apparel brand for triathletes, runners, and cyclists — with her husband Luke while both were competing professionally in triathlon. After transitioning out of triathlon in 2020 and relocating to Australia, she redirected her competitive focus to trail and ultrarunning, accumulating road race wins and personal bests before stepping onto mountain trails at the elite level. In 2024 she won the Ultra-Trail Australia 100km in 10:41 in what was effectively her first fully trail-focused season, then backed it up with a second-place finish at the 2025 edition; she has also recorded multiple podium performances at the Tarawera Ultramarathon 100km. A mother of two and CEO of WYN Republic, McKenzie is one of the clearest examples in contemporary trail running of elite competitive performance co-existing with entrepreneurial and family life at full intensity.
