About

Caterina Corti is an Italian ultra-trail runner based in Tuscany who has built one of the sport's most extensive amateur-elite race records, completing more than 30 ultra-distance events since 2014, almost entirely on her home region's Tuscan trail circuit. She is a prolific age-group and outright winner at the 45-70km distance, taking 1st-woman finishes at the Croce Ultra Trail, Ferriere Trail Festival, CUT (61km) and Tuscany Crossing New TCV (50km) in 2019, the Ronda Ghibellina Trail Plus (70km) in 2021, and the Fumaiolo Trail Ultra (64km) in 2022, alongside back-to-back 1st-woman finishes over the Tuscany Crossing 100-mile course in 2022 (7th overall) and 2024 (17th overall). She has also tackled the sport's biggest stages, finishing UTMB in 2017 and the Tor des Géants in 2018, and took 3rd woman at the Ultra Trail Chianti Castles 100K in 2022. Competing continuously since 2014, she remains one of the most active fixtures on the Italian ultra-trail scene.
