Chris Morrissey is a New Zealand mountain ultrarunner who has built a long, consistent record on the North Island trail circuit over more than a decade. Racing in the 50-54 age category, he has recorded two top-10 overall finishes across 32 tracked results, highlighted by 2nd overall at the Tarawera 100 Mile's 50km event in 2015 and 3rd overall the following year, plus 2nd overall at the 78km Hillary race in 2015. He also won the Mukamuka Munter 30km outright in 2012 and the Blackmores XTERRA Trail Waihi 20km in 2013, and has been a regular at the Tarawera Ultramarathon and Buffalo Stampede Marathon.
