Cinzia Arduzzoni is an Italian endurance athlete from Parma, registered with CUS Parma, who competes across running, triathlon, mountaineering, and adventure racing. In her 1998 Marathon des Sables debut she emerged as the closest challenger to eventual champion Rosanna Pellizzari, winning the fifth stage outright in 4:05 (four minutes clear of the field) and taking the sixth and final stage as well, before finishing runner-up in the women's overall classification roughly 27 minutes behind Pellizzari. She carries a marathon personal best of 3:10.
