Davide Rivero is an Italian ultrarunner from Cuneo who has built his name on some of the most demanding courses in the Alps. Racing for ThroughSport and trained by Reaction Hub, he took his first major win at the 2025 TOR130 -- Tot Dret, the 130km/12,000m+ leg of Tor des Géants week from Gressoney to Courmayeur, holding off the field despite a mid-race navigation error to finish in 21:44:33, and followed it with an overall win at the Grand Raid du Guillestrois-Queyras (105km, 6,600m+) later that year. He had placed 8th at the 2023 Lavaredo Ultra Trail and took 2nd at the 2025 Swiss Canyon Trail, before reaching his first UTMB World Series major podium with 3rd place at the 2026 TDS in 20:42:43. Outside racing, he undertakes self-supported bikepacking and trailpacking expeditions and supports associations that help people with disabilities access sport.
